The Sunset Overnight Shelter opened in 1992, providing temporary shelter, ablution facilities and accommodation to those in the city with nowhere else to go.  Unfortunately the municipality have now condemned the facility as unfit for habitation, and Project Gateway has had to close the shelter.  However, the need is still great and we are hoping to rebuild. Since SOS , approximately 150,000 people have been served through this ministry.
