 Project Gateway is committed to the education and training of children, young people and adults who would otherwise not have access to affordable, quality resources. In addition to formal education at Gateway Christian School, young people have the opportunity to enrol at the Gateway School of Fashion, an initiative run in association with UK designer Karen Millen OBE, the University for Creative Arts in the UK, and HOPE HIV.
Our Business Development Programme is aimed at local people who have previously earned little or no income, but who show clear entrepreneurial potential. Long term training incorporates business start-up skills, marketing support, mentorship and where needed, basic job skills.
In addition to formal education programmes, a number of our projects provide training in areas such as basic English, sewing, knitting, baking, basic health care, parenting and child care.
